About Us
Jay Beckham has received extensive training and experience in the cruise industry. He created Cruises On The Sea, Inc. in 2004. He and Julie have cruised frequently during the last 13 years and are in a position to provide great service and seasoned advice. Two years ago he received the Accredited Cruise Counsellor designation and recently became a Master Cruise Counsellor.
Since 2007 Jay started organizing group cruises. So far he has done eight groups including three coming up in 2011. Two other groups are now available for 2012.
In 2008 Jay earned the status of Commodore from Cunard and Princess Cruise Lines. This designation is based on a series of six educational series given by the cruise lines to provide the very best of agents to represent those lines. This status also requires yearly continuing education to maintain the status.
In addition Jay is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Accounting and Information Systems. He also has many years in various industries in professional and executive positions. Most importantly he is dedicated to providing superior service to his clients.
